Under supervision, administers all general Respiratory Therapy procedures, including humidity and aerosol therapy, lung inflation maneuvers, and pulmonary secretion clearance methods. Initiates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains patients on continuous ventilatory support. Administers pharmacological agents and performs CPR. Performs invasive and noninvasive monitoring and diagnostic techniques ascribed to specific critical care areas. Works independently within the ICU, ER, and floor care areas. Ability to assist with department and organization's education activities. Adheres to Department and Medical Center's Policies and Procedures. This position requires assisting with special pulmonary procedures in an inpatient, outpatient, and OR capacity. You will work alongside other team members and assist with bronchoscopy and other interventional pulmonary procedures including, but not limited to, EBUS, navigation bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, tunneled pleural catheter placement, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy. At times you may be asked to assume the role of OR circulator or scrub, with a need to know and observe sterile techniques. Knowledge of EPIC OpTime is desirable. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $97,217 - $120,895 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $46.56 - $57.90 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
