Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist Position Summary: IEM is looking for a Full Time - Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist to join our team. Primary Location:
- Candidates can originate from anywhere in Puerto Rico.
- Candidates will work remote and travel to client sites within Puerto Rico as needed.
Travel Requirements:
- This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in definition and staging of data to support SIT, Regression and UAT testing activities.
- Support data request for design, dev, validation activities.
- Data Cleaning and preparation for migration to UAT and Production environments.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to the project team and stakeholders.
- Develop reports as required for the AMI project team and integrations.
- Participate in discovery and design workshops as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Two (2) years' IT experience supporting SIT, Regression and UAT testing activities.
- One (1) year experience with meter management, utility customer service and order management applications.
- Specific experience with Itron or Oracle CC&B utility systems.
- Two (2) years' experience enabling GIS data analysis using SQL, Python, and R.
- Strong Excel Skills.
- Understanding of the typical utility applications and their connection to each other (CIS, GIS, OMS, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electric Utility experience preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in written and oral communication (Spanish and English).
Additional Location and Travel Information:
- Internet Requirements: All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.
- Physical Requirements: During site assessments you may be asked to remain in a stationary period, sit, stand, bend, grab, or kneel; you should also be able to life/carry between 10-30Lbs approximately and have 20/20 corrected vision.
