Job Description

The International Tax Reporting Manager is an important role within Rockwell Automation's Corporate Tax department based on the high degree of interaction with and focus on Rockwell's approximately 90 non-U.S. legal entities and its international business operations. You will focus on multiple tax reporting projects, both from a compliance and provision perspective, and support U.S. and local country individuals related to tax audit support. You will work with the International Tax Director on various projects related to U.S. international tax legislation (e.g., FTC, FDII, GILTI, BEAT, etc.), OECD BEPS Pillar 2.0 reporting, review of non-U.S. provision submissions, preparation and review of Rockwell's quarterly and year-end provision submission, and tax accounting implications related to non-U.S. acquisitions. Additionally, you will provide support to other members of the International Tax team on areas such as those related to tax planning opportunities, legal entity integration, and transfer pricing issues. You will report to our International Tax Director and work out of our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist International Tax Director with supporting all international tax reporting projects through technical analysis related to different U.S. compliance requirements and completing Rockwell's quarterly and year-end provision submission requirements.
  • Help with the design and reporting of Rockwell's BEPS Pillar Two 2.0 obligations.
  • Work with non-U.S. finance colleagues in the review of tax-provision submissions.
  • Help Corporate Tax to be a partner by networking with the regional finance teams and business contacts.
  • Help support the department's efforts to respond to U.S. international tax and non-U.S. audits.
  • Monitor current and proposed tax law changes to determine global impact to our organization.
  • Identify tax issues in foreign business operations related to legal structure, sales operating model, and different inter-company transactions.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • MST, MBA or JD
  • CPA
  • Experience with preparations and review of U.S. international tax compliance and international tax provisions.
  • Knowledge of U.S. international tax principles and non-U.S. tax concepts and systems based on experience related to third-party acquisitions
  • 6+ years of Big Four and/or large corporate income tax experience including 3+ years of international tax focused experience.
  • Reporting, tax research, and analytical skills.
  • Project management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with CorpTax tax compliance software, Longview or similar tax provision software tool, FCC, SAP, and Sharepoint.
