Position Summary: The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking a Construction Management Lecturer. The Department of Applied Engineering Technology Management has three majors including, Engineering Technology Management, Construction Management and Technology and Engineering Education. The department is looking for a dynamic Lecturer for the Construction Management area. The candidate will have shared responsibilities in the different areas instructing at all levels. The candidate will also have the desire to promote Technical Education. This is a full-time, academic year (9 month) position with an anticipated start date of August 25, 2025. Salary for this position is $43,941.00 per academic year. The University of Wisconsin System has a nationally top ranked retirement plan and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching of courses in, or related to construction management, covering a full range from introductory to capstone levels dependent on applicants' qualifications and/or experience. Assist in management of the construction lab that provides unique hands-on experiences in commercial, residential, and infrastructure construction. The applicant will assist in oversight of the program and engage industry stakeholders through advisory board and professional peer groups. Additional responsibilities include serving as academic advisor, assisting with maintaining equipment in laboratories, developing curricula, maintaining professional contacts, engaging in scholarly activities, research, continued professional development, and university and community service.
