Wellesley MA Full time R0013825 The Senior Integrations Developer designs, develops, and manages data pipelines using Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Data Fabric, orchestrating data movement across various sources like databases, data lakes, and applications, ensuring data quality and security within the cloud environment, and collaborating with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements into efficient workflows. As Microsoft moves more into Azure Databricks, the role will also move in that direction when the time is right. The Senior Integrations Developer uses their experience and skills in these technologies to craft elegant solutions that meet business requirements; works with business analysts, business units, and users to implement solutions using an agile and iterative development model; and works independently and as part of a development team to deliver innovative applications using Babson's SDLC and best practices for application development. WHAT YOU WILL DO
YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE N/A WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. At least 10-15 years of experience with integrations, and at least one year with Azure Data Factory and/or Data Fabric. Experience with various AI tools to assist and expedite the coding and ETL process. Must have excellent written and oral communications skills as well as superior presentation and writing skills. Must be able to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Must have strong mentoring/knowledge transfer skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience gathering and translating requirements. Experience writing/consuming web services with understanding of WSDL and SOAP. Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results. Anticipates and embraces change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions. HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK May require some nights and weekends.
