Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Communications Manager to oversee and execute a variety of communications initiatives within the organization. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in internal communications, public relations, audio/video editing, digital media, and marketing project management. The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging content across multiple internal and external channels, supporting campaigns, and driving successful marketing initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications:




  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies to keep a rapidly growing national team informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals.





  • Create and distribute a variety of internal communication materials, including newsletters, memos, updates, and announcements.





  • Manage content and communication collateral for internal events, recruiting efforts, community building, and employee affinity group initiatives.





  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment of messaging across all internal communication channels.




Marketing Team Project Management:




  • Oversee and manage projects within the marketing team, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's goals.



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of marketing campaigns and initiatives.





  • Track and report on project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays. (Experience with Asana preferred, but not required.)




Audio/Video Content Creation & Editing:




  • Plan, create, and edit high-quality video and audio content for internal and external use, including social media, websites, and internal communication channels.



  • Develop multimedia content for podcasts, webinars, and other digital platforms, ensuring they are engaging and aligned with company brand guidelines.





  • Ensure that all video and audio content is optimized for various platforms, meeting the highest standards of quality and consistency.




External Communications & Public Relations:




  • Assist in developing written content for external audiences, including press releases, op-eds, and thought leadership articles.



  • Collaborate with external agency partners and senior leadership to coordinate media interviews, speaking engagements, and other strategic content initiatives.





  • Monitor and manage the company's public image through proactive media relations and messaging, ensuring consistency and positive representation.




Compliance:




  • All employees are responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.




Skills & Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.





  • 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing with a focus on internal communications, digital media, and project management.





  • Proven expertise in audio/video editing.





  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content for a variety of audiences and platforms.





  • Experience in project management, including familiarity with tools like Asana, Trello, or similar.





  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.





  • Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and multimedia content creation.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Previous experience with media relations, external communications, or managing public-facing content.





  • Familiarity with content analytics and tracking to measure the impact of communications efforts.

Base Salary: $85,000 to $105,000

Visa Sponsorship: Capital Rx does not provide sponsorship to any candidates. This includes, but is not limited to those that require H1-B, TN, OPT, etc. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US at the time of application and throughout employment.

This position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals.
