All Inclusive Bartender | Baltimore Recruitment Center

The All Inclusive Bartender is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Bartender must understand the content of the bar menu and ensure the accurate & timely production & delivery of beverages. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The Bartender is also responsible for stock requisitions and keeping the area clean for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to location appearance guidelines.
* Employ good safety and sanitation practices.
* Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to get along well with others. Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
* Set up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
* Count the stock by verifying the amounts provided on the stand sheet.
* Ensure bar is properly stocked with product and cleaned.
* Ensure that only guests of legal age are served alcoholic beverages by checking for valid identification.
* Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
* Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
* Wash and sterilize stemware.
* Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
* Greet and serve guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
* Establish rapport with guests and understand suggestive and upselling techniques.
* Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
* Take and/or process orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
* Recount stock and verify on stand sheet, as well as enter end counts into Point of Sale.
* Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items.
* Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:

* Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
* Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* Demonstrate physical stamina required to be mobile for long periods.
* Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:
* 2 years' bartending experience in the hospitality industry or equivalent certification.
* Willingness to learn and grow.
* An outgoing personality is preferred.
* Ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience.
* The ability to communicate effectively by writing, speaking and comprehending English
* The ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
