Provider Relations Specialist

NaphCare is hiring an experienced Provider Relations Specialist at the Corporate HQ in Birmingham, AL, 35216. This will be a remote position after training completed in the office. The Provider Relations Specialist will support clients by providing assistance with our Provider Portal via written correspondence and telephone and also assist with claim accounts processes. The Provider Relations Specialist will resolve provider issues and escalate as needed.

Position Requirements

The Provider Relations Specialist must possess equivalent work experience; as well as two years of previous experience where a working knowledge of 1500s, UBs, and medical claims processing were demonstrated.
• Medical billing knowledge and customer service skills are critical.
• The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also desired

Performance Expectations:

• Advanced experience with using Excel formulas, functions and pivot tables.
• Demonstrate skills in accuracy and multitasking while working to impact the progress within the daily workload and adhere to internal deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality when managing patient data and NaphCare processes.
• Demonstrate a high comfort level in working with large volumes of data and multiple related systems.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.
• Additional duties and specific projects as assigned.
