Overview

The Home Delivery Customer Account Manager is responsible for managing a market from a customer location (store) and/or a 4PL warehouse partner. They will oversee the operations and ensure compliance to all SOW/SOP expectations. This includes reports, inventory, unloading, loading, dispatching, monitoring independent contractors, and tracking KPI. The role requires a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and technical knowledge to ensure seamless daily operations while maintaining high levels of productivity and quality. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

    Main point of contact for customer supporting all of their logistics needs from beginning to end, including:

    * Track and trace orders daily

    * Able to troubleshoot and overcome operational challenges

    * Act as the local point-of-contact for all customer inquiries, both operational and sales related

    * Provide timely analysis and monitor cost metrics

    • Work with customer on any and all reporting requests
  • Manage and optimize IC resources
  • Monitor emails, reports, and requests
  • Resolve operational issues and challenges as they arise.
  • All other duties as needed


Qualifications

  • Minimum basic qualifications: High school degree or GED required
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 3-5 years previous Account Management / Client Relations experience
  • 2+ Home Delivery / Final Mile Logistics Experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, AS400 experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a team setting and autonomously to determine resources to meet and exceed company and customer expectations
  • Ability to problem solve and be solution oriented
  • Individual must have a self-starter mentality and is adaptive and flexible
  • Ability to calculate freight rates and amounts such percentages, area, circumference, and volume
