This individual will be providing outpatient counseling services to children and their families. The individual will need to be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, and compassionate.

Terros Health is looking for professional and dedicated Ryan White Program Specialist for our Indian School Rd. location!

Full-Time Employment

Location: 333 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85012

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

This position works 75% of the time in the Ryan White Program and 25% of the Outpatient Portable Pilot Program

Ryan White Program Specialist duties include:




  • Execute all duties of Ryan White Part A, Early Intervention Services Program.



  • Plan and execute program requirements daily ensuring services are provided to clients.



  • Provide information regarding programs, courses, policies, and procedures to internal and external contacts.



  • Assist management in the planning and organization of a volunteer program.



  • Coordinate in ensuring staff and volunteers are used in the most effective manner for departmental goals and objectives.



  • OPP: Develop effective transportation schedules for the Clinical Portable Care Project that ensures that participants are offered direct transportation services to ongoing medical, SUD, BH, SDoH and other community services and resources as needed.



  • OPP: Assign specific team for member transportation for client care.



  • OPP: Coordinates with Terros Health Fleet Manager to ensure that vans and other vehicles are in good working order, clean, and have sufficient fuel

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED in combination with at least one (1) year of life/work experience working in the field of HIV and/or substance use/abuse prevention.



  • High level of competency in Microsoft Word, Intermediate Level Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.



  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to assist patients, convey information, resolve issues, cultivate connections, build solid relationships, and express empathy throughout the patient experience.



  • Ability to work with all cultures and sub-cultures that comprise of the population of Maricopa County in a non-judgmental and value clear manner.



  • Phlebotomy trained and certified preferred, but not required. Willingness to undergo phlebotomy certification is required within 60 days of assuming role.



  • Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role



  • Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy.



  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.



  • Must pass a TB Test.
