Emplify by Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Prairie du Chien Clinic. Prairie du Chien Clinic is looking for a team-oriented clinician who provides full-spectrum Family Medicine. This is an outpatient only position with a shared nursing home call. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00am-4:30 pm. The Medical Staff in Prairie du Chien consists of 3 physicians and 4 advanced practice clinicians (both NP's and PA's). We also have many specialists from our Main Medical Campus who come regularly to care for our patients. Gundersen Behavioral Health has an office in the clinic and there is a full-service pharmacy located in the lobby. We also offer lab service, x-rays, and 3D mammograms. Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrate a high level of clinical proficiency, excellent decision-making, and the ability to work independently and as an effective member of a health care team. Must have the ability to effectively collaborate with and establish/build relationships with others, proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively. Must be able to apply diverse principles of logic, medical or scientific thinking to a wide range of health care situations. Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician. Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
