TSC is looking for an experienced Space Robotics Engineer in Washington, D.C.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field required.

  • Must be knowledgeable about robotic control and state estimation techniques, robotic manipulator kinematics, path planning, and simulation environments. Experience with robotic in-space assembly, either through participation in on-orbit demos (ideal) or ground-based hardware simulation environments.

  • Understanding of the space environment with experience designing robotic algorithms to operate in space is desired.

  • Understanding of modern deep learning techniques is desired.

  • Broad knowledge about the state of US space robotics and robotic in-space assembly and experience with zero-gravity simulation environments highly desired.

  • Must be a US citizen with a Secret security clearance.
