Warehouse Operator

Warehouse Operator has the primary responsibility of contributing to all phases of the team-oriented Warehouse process. Including loading and unloading of inbound and outbound raw materials and finished goods and maintaining accurate documentation of all products. This position is expected to become fully versed in the entire warehouse process. In addition to quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and place materials on racks, and shelves, according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or style.
• Managed to work in cold temperatures (freezer)
• All finished goods are palletized, recorded in SAP, and shrink-wrapped to specifications.
• All Finished goods are moved to the proper freezer location in a timely manner.
• All materials used in production are transferred to correct locations in SAP properly and accurately, before and after using materials.
• All documentation is completed accurately - Pallet count sheets, Pallet tags, and lot number accuracy.
• Monthly inventory cycle counts
• Maintain raw material, packaging, warehouse, and freezer in accordance with GMP.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible, clean organized, and safe for all thru traffic.
• Always operates the forklift in a safe manner.
• Serve as backup for other department activities.
• Relieve warehouse personnel for breaks and meals.
• Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety, and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED desired or equivalent years of experience in an automated or semi-automated packing environment preferred
• Previous experience in a baking environment preferred
• A mechanical ability that makes possible the identifying and solving of mechanical and process problems
• Ability to comprehend and read operational manuals and complete written forms (In English)
