We are seeking an Industrial Engineer for our customer, County Prestress & Precast LLC in Westmont, IL. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply. Job Duties:
- Perform required duties as assigned by and under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Identify, formulate, and solve complex production challenges to improve safety, quality, and cost.
- Develop and implement process improvements using engineering judgment and data analysis.
- Conduct appropriate experimentation to identify bottlenecks and increase efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and reduce non-value-added activities.
- In conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator, act as a liaison between County Prestress and contractor, owner, architect, and erector.
- Visit jobsites and County Prestress production facilities on a regular basis to become familiar with production and erection procedures and the problems that may occur.
- Know the schedule for all phases of the project and make sure the customer's (including production) needs are always met.
- Provide training to employees on best practices and process standardization.
- Conduct regular audits of identified best practices. Report deficiencies to Ops. Manager.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to interpret technical data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience in concrete manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record required
