ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP This position will work closely with our Sales, Purchasing and Accounting Departments to complete project-based assignments, provide support to the Sales, Purchasing and Accounting Departments, including administrative support, and other assistance, where needed. This position reports directly to the Director - Human Resources. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Candidate should be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a business-related major. EXPERIENCE: Must have completed at least freshman year. PREREQUISITES: Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proficiency using Microsoft Office products and other relevant tools; Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment SCHEDULE: Typically, Monday-Friday, 8a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
