ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP: Under general supervision of the Chemistry Lab Supervisor and the direction of an assigned mentor when working in the shop, this position performs testing involved in the daily operations of the Chemistry Lab, as well as project-based assignments, administrative support, and other assistance, where needed. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. During the internship, the Intern will learn how to take skills acquired in school and apply them in a manufacturing setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Candidate should be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering. EXPERIENCE: Must have completed at least freshman year. PREREQUISITES:
PHYSICAL:
Will be required to submit to a criminal background investigation. Urine and hair follicle drug screening will be required upon offer of employment.
