Main Responsibilities:
- Accept and inspect materials from carriers, ensuring completeness of shipments and checking for damage.
- Properly prepare and package materials for transport; prepare necessary documentation for the company and carriers.
- Initiate and complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Maintain storage facilities, including racks, shelves, and bins, ensuring organization and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts, pallet movers, and other material handling equipment as necessary.
- Use company vehicles for the pickup and delivery of parts and materials.
- Perform periodic stock counts and make adjustments to inventory as needed.
- Issue and credit parts and tools, preparing proper documentation for transactions.
- Enter stock information into the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS).
- Work variable hours and shifts, demonstrating flexibility as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Educational Requirements:
- Mandatory: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Minimum of 2 years of computer experience.
- Must possess a valid New York State driver's license.
Desirable:
- 3 years of industrial stores experience with a working knowledge of inventory control.
Competencies & Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Applications (MAXIMO, SCADA preferred).
