SPLUNK Software Engineer We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
- Experience building Splunk dashboards in Splunk Enterprise
- Experience writing Splunk queries
- Experience with other data mining and analyzing tools,
- Familiar with HTML, XML SQL, Gitlab and Linux
- As a MUOS Software Engineer in the Space, Cyber, & Intelligence Systems business area, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the development and test of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles - or even the Arctic Circle.
- The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system.
- Not only do we maintain the current live system, but you will help add new capabilities and enhancements and replace end-of-life components.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a SPLUNK Software Engineer.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Agile experience.
- Experience building Splunk dashboards in Splunk Enterprise.
- Experience writing Splunk queries.
- Experience with other data mining and analyzing tools.
- Familiar with HTML, XML SQL, Gitlab, and Linux.
- Ability to lead the software development process.
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
