Your Role

The AR Core Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of customer data within an Accounts Receivable (AR) system, ensuring proper billing and collection processes by identifying and resolving data discrepancies, standardizing customer information, and analyzing data trends to improve overall AR efficiency and data quality. The Accounts Receivable (AR) Data Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of receivables, from setting up new client accounts, in line with contractual agreements, to managing large customer accounts, as well as performing other financial tasks when needed.

You will make your biggest impact in:

  1. Data cleansing and standardization: Review and clean customer Core data to eliminate duplicates, correct inaccurate information (address, contact details, payment terms), and ensure data adheres to established standards.
  2. Customer account setup: Create new customer accounts in the AR system, ensuring accurate billing information and proper credit limits are assigned.
  3. Data analysis and reporting: Generate reports on key AR metrics like aging analysis, customer payment trends, and identify areas for improvement based on data insights.
  4. Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with sales, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure accurate customer information across systems.
  5. Credit Analysis: Perform credit analyses on large customers. Monitor customer credit limits andrecommend adjustments based on financial health.
  6. Financial Tasks: Financial calculations, reconciliations, analysis, as needed.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer and quality focus with ability to keep commitments, seeks feedback and continuously drive customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to cooperate and communicate efficiently with colleagues and partners at all levels.

Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable, or related field.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Data management expertise: Proficiency in data cleansing techniques, data validation rules, and data quality standards.

  • Technical skills: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL), Sales Force is a plus.

  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex data issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions.

Travel

  • Business travel may be required from time to time. This includes international travel, including but not limited to, Mexico and Canada.
