Radiologic Technologist 32 hour days

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This position will involve performing X-rays and bone density scans at two outpatient facilities: Lynn Medical Village and Danvers Women's Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic imaging and will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform X-ray and bone density scans at both Lynn Medical Village and Danvers Women's Health locations.
Ensure that all imaging equipment is set up properly and functioning before use.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.
Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality X-rays and bone density images.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with radiation protection regulations.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently, troubleshooting as needed.
Document patient information and procedures performed, ensuring accurate and complete records.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control and safety guidelines.
Provide excellent patient care, addressing concerns and answering questions.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to meet patient diagnostic needs.
Work Schedule:
Tuesday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM

Licenses and Credentials
Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.

Valid state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist.

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Experience
Experience in radiology technology 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and patient positioning.
- Familiarity with imaging procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in using radiographic equipment and associated software.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately.
