- Strategic Leadership: Lead HR strategy and operations for a global workforce of approximately 1,300 employees across EMEA, APAC, Japan, China, India, and the Americas.

About the Role The Director, Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing global Human Resource Business Partners for the Design & Engineering business unit. This role requires exceptional leadership, business acumen, and HR expertise to drive workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness across regions. As a key member of the Design & Engineering and HR Leadership Teams, this role will shape and execute global HR strategies in alignment with business priorities while ensuring compliance with employment laws across all global regions with specific emphasis in EMEA.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary HR leader for the Design & Engineering business unit, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
- Drive talent strategies to attract, retain, and develop a high-performing, globally distributed workforce.
- Lead global team of HR Business Partners and other team members to deliver HR services across the business unit.
- Develop and implement leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential programs.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on employee relations, labor laws, and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Utilize HR metrics and workforce analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Total Rewards teams to ensure competitive compensation programs across regions.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years at a Director or equivalent level.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR Business partners in a global capacity.
- Demonstrated experience with EMEA employment laws
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD.
- Industry experience in modern global software companies.
