JOB SUMMARY: The Cashier/Front Desk Specialist provides support to the medical and dental programs by collecting and processing fees and keeping records of service billing of different programs within the site. The position performs administrative and front desk receptionist duties as may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Calculate client fees and collect payments in several forms (cash, check, and credit card) in Electronic Clinical Works (eCW) as well as the cash register while also providing receipts of all transactions.


  • Generate daily reports and ensure accuracy of amount charged to patients by providers in all clinics on-site.

  • Investigate and follow up on outstanding accounts as well as issues/ questions raised by clients to the managers.



  • Run monthly fees and insurance reports for each program department.


  • Perform administrative and front desk receptionist duties as maybe required.

  • Attend meetings of medical and dental programs.



  • Perform other job-related duties as required.




EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:




  • High School diploma or GED



  • 2 years' work experience in an office setting, preferably in a clinic/doctor's office.



  • Experience receiving, counting, balancing, and reconciling monies from client fees or other sources.




SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:



  • Bilingual, Spanish-English.
  • Skill to operate job-related equipment including the use of computer systems (MS Office products), including Excel, Outlook, and databases
