This position is responsible for the proper operations of the site's chemical reactors daily. The person in this role will manufacture and monitor batches following written procedures ensuring that all quality and safety standards are met.

Additional Information:

Night Shift: 5:45pm - 6:00am, it's a 2,2,3 schedule. 2 days on, 2 days off then working every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Operates a reactor vessel utilizing a computerized control system to ensure the proper chemical reactions and requirements occur; follows appropriate batch ticket and operational procedures.
  • Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads raw materials and other components required for the production process; will also utilize a computerized or automatic process to perform tasks.
  • Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements.
  • Gather, measure, and weigh chemicals necessary for the manufacturing of the batches.
  • Load back batches in Reaction Rooms and on the Mezzanine area
  • Monitor the filling process for hot water tanks and boilers and monitor levels and temperatures
  • Train Reaction Operators
  • Assist in fulfilling duties for all other Production Operator roles across the site, including: Shipping & Receiving, Utility Operator, and Manufacturing Operating Techs.
  • Organize and general upkeep of Reactor Rooms, Mezz and Boiler area, Cooling System, and Tank Farm; restock, and keep areas clean.
  • Monitor water softeners and their salt content.
  • Operate NLB to clean the inside of reactors.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations to ensure records and actions are accurate.
  • May operate a variety of computerized, manual, and mechanical equipment to mix, fill, unload, label, pack, and store working-progress and finished goods.
  • Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear.
  • Assists with maintaining a clean and safe working environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicates with maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products.
  • Prepares and/or performs quality control analysis, testing, and review to ensure adherence to standards and parameters.



Minimum Requirements:



  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have two (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility or in an operations environment
  • Must have one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
  • Must have one (1) year of work experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation of machinery


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Have at least two (2) years of experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods
  • Have at least two (2) years of experience watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollys, conveyor belts, etc.)
