This position is responsible for implementing and carrying out the sales initiatives set forth by the company, throughout his/her established territory, and to support the day-to-day business development operations. This includes assisting the account executive in establishing and developing new business contacts; maintaining current relationships; developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan. The position will require extensive overnight travel and timely completion of required reports, summaries and recommendations.

Attractive pay
  • Base salary between $120,000 - $150,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Works with Vice President, Business Development to set sales goals and strategies for the assigned region.
  • Responsible for regularly engaging C-suite meetings to drive market share and partnerships as part of sales strategy.
  • Participates and engages with community resources and potentially serves on local committees/advisory boards.
  • Oversees a team of Area Sales Managers and Account Executives/Liaisons in assigned region.
  • Provides ongoing feedback and coaching to support employee growth, development, and performance improvement.
  • Partners with the operations and clinical Area Vice President team to ensure successful execution of the region's operational growth strategy.
  • Serves as a key member of the regional executive management team, ensuring compliance, performance, and HR guidelines are upheld across the region.
  • Leads and mentors liaisons within the territory to drive market expansion and performance excellence by developing and executing sales initiatives, implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, achieving growth targets, building new business relationships, refining market analyses, maintaining key partnerships, and ensuring ongoing account satisfaction.
  • Maintains and grows identified accounts to prepare new territories for new liaisons.
  • Supports the recruitment and selection of new liaisons by identifying top talent, conducting interviews, and ensuring a strong cultural and strategic fit.
  • Leads hands-on training and onboarding processes to equip new team members with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed for success, fostering a high-performing sales team and ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.
  • Provides in-field support to the liaison team, spending 4 days per week in the field.
  • Manages CRM assignments, oversees approval of liaison expense reports, and handles administrative tasks such as documentation, internal meetings, and TRS-related activities.
  • Maintains consistent communication and fosters collaboration with operational and clinical partners to ensure alignment on goals, streamline processes, and drive overall performance. Works closely with these teams to address challenges, implement solutions, and support the successful delivery of services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or management required or equivalent of 4 years of successful leadership experience.
  • Five years of sales experience OR experience in the health care industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of home health or hospice sales experience.
  • Supervisory experience a plus.
Please note: This role will travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.
