Description This is a Full time, benefitted position at La Jolla Memorial Hospital. The shift varies but could start as early as 0430 and PACU is open until 11pm. The shift is 10.25 hours and 60 hours per 2 week pay period. This role will be trained to work in PreOp/PACU and Cath Lab recovery as a Peri anesthesia nurse. PACU is open on Saturday and there is occasional weekend call. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year RN experience Current CA RN License Current BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
