LG Technology Ventures is the venture capital investment arm of the LG Group. LG Technology Ventures was established in 2018 and its team consists of experienced investors, entrepreneurs, technologists, and industry domain experts. Currently, LG Technology Ventures is managing over $400 million of fund assets and invests in early-stage start-ups in artificial intelligence, mobility, advanced materials, life-sciences, next generation display, mobile, and 5G. We strive to create value to our portfolio companies by helping them develop strategic partnerships with various LG Companies.

We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Senior Investment Manager on the LG Technology Ventures Team!

Job Description:



  • Discover and review investment opportunities and feasibility for M&A based on Enterprise S/W industry expertise. In particular, this person will lead the feasibility study of the acquisition from an industry/competition perspective based on industry expertise and experience
    * Develop business cases for pursuing M&A including quantifying joint development opportunities, synergy potential, business valuation, forecasting, and investment scenarios
    * Post Merger Integration / Operation support for the acquired portfolio companies(e.g. M&A)
    * Establish and maintain strong professional networks inside and outside LG (e.g. bankers, PEs, law firms, advisory firms).


Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree + 12 years relevant work experience
    * Strategy/Planning/M&A experiences at Enterprise SW companies
    * Deep understanding of Enterprise SW industry and competitive landscape
    * Wide network of experts in the industry
    * Self-directed work performance and communication skills



Preferred Experience:



  • Investment experiences at Private Equity firms based on industry expertise in Enterprise SW
    * Advisory experiences in Investment Banking or Research firms based on Enterprise SW
    * Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related majors


Recruiting Range
$164,000 - $200,000 USD
