Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Configuration and Data Manager to support CDRLs, baselines, and assets/licenses for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Provide configuration and CDRL data manager (CM/DM), quality assurance, program/project, requirements analysis, risk management, and software engineering support services in accordance with the program's Configuration Management (CM) Plan, Air Force SEAM CM processes, program development/sustainment contracts, and PMO practices.
Qualifications 1+ years experience in configuration and data management. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Experience managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits to enable Government ownership of the program technical baseline. Able to work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design engineers in an integrated product team environment. Experience with IT CM in the DoD environment. Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits. Experience performing the technical/administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling. Experience producing release notes and CM reports. In-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation. Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments. Experience developing briefings for management. Must understand all phases of the software development life cycle. Able to enter and manipulate data in a database. Must have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. Able to work independently and with a team. Experience with MS Office. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
