The Procurement Operations Excellence Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within the procurement function. This role involves analyzing and optimizing procurement processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement performance and support strategic business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Apply methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to streamline procurement workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Performance Management: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Develop strategies for supplier development and risk mitigation.
  • Cost Savings: Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements. Implement initiatives to achieve cost reduction targets.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal partners, including finance, operations, and IT, to align procurement strategies with business goals. Provide training and support on procurement standard processes.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage procurement technology and tools to enhance operational efficiency. Implement digital solutions to automate procurement processes.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/Master's degree preferred.
  • Confirmed experience in procurement operations, supply chain management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
  • Ideally, experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Ideally, familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience in aerospace or automotive industries preferred.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$123,500.00 - $229,500.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
