Commodities Processor (Fertilizer Plant) - Day Shift

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Essential Job Functions:

• Receiving and Loading: Follow all plant SOPs and HAACP guidelines for loading and unloading fertilizer and feed products as well as operate front end loader.
• Ensure the organic integrity of inbound products through inspections. Training: Review and follow all plant SOPs.
• Batching: Ensure documentation is accurate for all batched products. Operate Repete software and accurately measure all hand adds. Properly document the lot numbers for each pound of product batched.
• Monitor Safety and House Keeping: Ensure the housekeeping plan is followed and properly documented on a daily basis. All plant areas must comply with food safety and OSHA requirements at all times
• Assist with plant maintenance as directed.
• Relieve lead person as directed by lead or supervisor.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read, understand and implement written instructions and procedures.
• Complete reports with legible handwriting
• Ability to Lift 80-100 pounds
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime (As Needed)
• Able to adapt to heights up to 160 feet and confined spaces
• Mathematical aptitude
• Good organization skills: Self Motivated
• Some computer Skills
• Good overall employment and attendance

Preferred Requirements

• Warehouse experience
