Description

    Leading market strategy, capture efforts, and solutions to grow Scientific Research Corporation (SRC)'s business
  • Identifying, qualifying, and closing captures by interfacing with prospective customers and teaming partners, building a strong opportunity pipeline, and developing compelling proposals
  • Translating customer needs to technical Subject Matter Experts to derive an effective solution
  • Negotiating and establishing teaming arrangements
  • Conducting market analysis, prioritizing investments, and developing market penetration strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience DoD and/or NIWC contracting experience
  • Firm understanding of the Shipley model
  • Has developed mature opportunity pipelines that have led to business growth
  • Participated in and leads color team reviews
  • Comfortable communicating with potential customers and leading solution discussions


Desired Skills

  • Experience identifying, qualifying, and closing DoD captures
  • Proven communication and sales skills and able to demonstrate leadership capabilities
  • Ability to translate customer needs to technical Subject Matter Experts (SME) to derive an effective solution
  • Adept at negotiating and establishing teaming arrangements/agreements
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills - demonstrated effectiveness in conducting market analysis, prioritizing investments, and developing market penetration strategies
  • Quality proposal writing and review abilities is a plus


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL



Travel Requirements

  • 20-30% travel to meet with customers and teaming partners, primarily to San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA
