Description

The Senior Credit Analyst - CRE will review and analyze current credit data and financial statements to identify and assess credit risk. This position will assist in spreading financial statements, developing global cash flows, reviewing historical payment performance and preparing Concept Memo's for credit review. Additionally, The Senior Credit Analyst will assist Underwriters with setting up new loans in Cash Suites, generating CAM's in Cash Suites using the Cash Doc Wizard, spreading Tax Returns, P&L's, and Rent Rolls, producing Property Level Proformas, and running Global Analysis. The Senior Credit Analyst will provide quality service to all customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Recognize and mitigate risk during pre-qualification assessment by gathering pertinent information from RM's, Associates, and Brokers prior to submitting pre-qualification assessment.
  • Prepare LOIs for approved previews.
  • Order Appraisals, and Environmental Reports on all types of commercial real estate.
  • Assist Credit Analyst Supervisor and Underwriters in gathering data from customers, internal sources, and outside sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; contacts customers for additional information and clarification of data.
  • Proficient spreading of all types of commercial real estate and personal financial statements.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify, interpret, and explain root cause of trends in operating performance, financial condition and cash flow as these relate to credit risk.
  • Assist Underwriters in setting up new loans in Cash Suites, generating CAM's in Cash Suites using the Cash Doc Wizard, filling out CAM Templates, spreading Tax Returns, P&L's, and Rent Rolls, producing property Level Proformas and running Global Analysis.
  • Use working knowledge of loan policy to identify loan policy exceptions and present in credit analysis
  • Prepare and submit appraisal and environmental report requests to the Appraisal Department for all new CRE loans.
  • Communicate with Underwriters and RM's through Salesforce on status of 3rd party reports
  • Perform special projects from time to time as required by management
  • Attend weekly Team meetings and contribute to the credit analysis function.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • 2-4 years of experience as a credit analyst at a similar financial institution



A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $27.85 to $46.42. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A discretionary bonus and/or business line incentive may be provided, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
