SAP Data Entry/Order Coordination Specialist

Works with the overall engineering team to assist in material procurement and perform data entry. Coordinates, monitors, and reports on the flow of documents within the operation or between engineering and purchasing departments. Works closely with engineering management to support engineering and work as a liaison with other departments.

1) Enters, maintains, and tracks all project parts orders in SAP
2) Pursues quotes for parts lists ordered by engineering, writes purchase requisitions in SAP, and tracks progress of material with vendors
3) Creates and maintains parts data in SAP
4) Coordinates project returned material with vendors
5) Assists engineering team with other tasks as needed

Education & Experience Requirements

1) Associate's degree or equivalent experience
2) Experience with procurement in an engineering environment

1) Knowledge of engineering and procurement processes
2) Knowledge of engineering terminology
3) Experience with SAP or similar software is required
4) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
