Location: Houston, TX, 77095 (Must live within 50 miles)
Schedule: 1 day a week in the office (The role is mostly remote)
Salary: $77,925.00 Annually
Position Overview
- The Operations Account Manager is responsible for after sales services for an assigned account portfolio daily, resulting in high customer satisfaction in combination with minimized losses and maximized profitability.
- Responsible for identifying sales opportunities and preparing recommendations.
- Candidate must be customer service oriented and detail oriented.
- Candidate must have the ability to identify red flags.
- Candidate must be direct and be able to ensure payments are made.
- Ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office.
Day to Day
- Monitor and identify potential risks, such as arrears, unpaid assets and assets at risk.
- Communicate risk signals to all internal stakeholders.
- Initiate immediate remedial actions to minimize risk.
- Handle all day-to-day questions and requests of customers.
- Monitor all transactions in portfolio.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and document and pass on feedback to appropriate persons or departments.
- Analyze customer needs for additional products and services, identify sales opportunities and prepare recommendations.
- Pro-actively inform customers about appropriate additional services and products.
- Manage all customers and contracts according to relevant policies, conditions and agreements.
- Identify recurring issues regarding processes, procedures, documents and tooling.
- Come up with feasible ideas for improvement and implement improvements.
- Interact effectively with customers and vendors.
- Ensure inventory is secure.
Account Manager is responsible for:
- Customer Service
- Account Management (keep track of tractors on the lot)
- Firm control of financing/ leases/ audit.
- Ensure payments are made.
- Maintain insurance coverage.
- Identify red flags, missing tractors etc.
- 350 dealers in the area. 500K to 5 M in sales
- Ideal combo of leasing knowledge, inventory and finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years related experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting and good knowledge of inspection, collection, recovery, and processing.
Additional Notes
- Must be team oriented.
- Good background in some kind of product or inventory.
- Territory travel - is rare but may be needed to visit dealer.
- Must have some financial experience / Customer service / Account Management
