Logistics Associate Category: Life Science Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-383243 Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Logistics Associate to work a contract assignment in Ridgefield, CT. Location: Ridgefield, CT Duration: One year assignment, possible extension but not guaranteed Work Schedule: Full-time, contract Pay Rate: $25 - $27.96/hour Responsibilities: In coordination with CDMOs (contract development and manufacturing organizations), arrange shipments of development samples and clinical trial supplies. Lead and manage relationships with logistics service providers. Ensure compliance with best practices and SOPs for compliance with import/export requirements. Take ownership of shipment dispatch, tracking and delivery, and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders; intervene as needed to address transport delays (e.g., customs clearance) and communicate in a timely fashion. Maintain department logistics SharePoint folder, including archival of shipping documentation (customs invoices, packing lists, end use letters, temperature logger data, etc.) for each shipment. Identify areas of improvement and suggest best practices. Track and report on key performance indicators of logistics and service providers. Raise continuous improvement ideas to support a robust, transparent, and secure logistics network. Requirements: BS or MS required with experience in regulated industries, preferably (bio)pharmaceutical. Minimum 8 years work experience in Logistics, Transportation, Import/Export, cold-chain other Supply Chain function Experience managing logistics activities in high-performing global teams. Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to problem solve and drive positive change. A bias toward urgency in problem-solving to support a best-in-class pharmaceutical development organization.
