FlexStaff is looking for a Billing Associate for our client, an ambulatory surgery center in Manhattan. The Billing Associate performs various billing, collection and third party reimbursement functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process charges, payments, and adjustments.

• Verify patient information and insurance details.

• Bill insurers and patients.

• Handle billing inquiries (phone, mail, audits).

• Manage payment plans with patients.

• Maintain organized billing records and reports.

• Perform other related duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

• Prior third party insurance billing experience, required.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively.
