About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Documentum Administrator to join us. Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, administer, and support numerous Documentum Content servers, repositories, and work with interfacing teams to maintain current projects.
- Develop and optimize Documentum xCP solutions to enhance content management processes.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Documentum repository by managing user roles, permissions, and access controls. Configure and administer the EMC Document Management tools including Documentum Content Server 7.1 or later), Webtop (6.7).
- Work with development teams to design and implement custom workflows, lifecycles, and content management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations between Documentum and other enterprise applications.
- Maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Perform Linux-based system administration tasks, including executing OS-level commands.
- Evaluate and perform upgrades to the document management toolset.
- Analyze business processes and recommend approaches to use and apply to the EMC Document Management suite.
- Assist in the development and implementation of high-availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies for EMC Documentum environments.
- Perform capacity planning and maintain performance benchmarks.
- Provide guidance and training to developers using DFC and Documentum Web Services Apply formal SDLC methodologies and IT governance.
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related studies, or an equivalent amount of experience.
- At least three (3) years of experience with Documentum Content Server development or administration.
- Understanding of Linux and OS commands.
- Experience with Documentum Content Server v6.x, 7.x, or 16.x on high availability platforms.
- Expert experience designing and developing xCP solutions.
- Strong understanding of EMC Documentum Server architecture and components.
- Prefer experience working with Nuxeo, open source content management system.
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Work with Nuxeo or other open-source content management systems as part of broader ECM initiatives.
