Manager Analytics

The Manager, Analytics, is accountable for the operational execution of the Opportunity Analyses (OA) project plans and additional analytics projects as required for new customers or new projects specific to existing customers. Through the successful execution of the OA and Analytics process, the Manager, Analytics is responsible for partnering with Business Unit leadership, Go to Market, and any / all internal teams in driving new client growth and product expansion to existing clients, which feeds into company revenue. The individual will lead a team of data and insights analysts, lead the execution of analytics, development and delivery of internal and client-facing reporting and dashboards.

The Manager will be responsible for creating and leading the OA and Analytics project plans; , identifying process improvement opportunities, coordinating and managing the client and Internal implementation effort with cross-functional groups, producing and monitoring complex operational reporting, and facilitating the resolution of delivery issues as needed.

Lead the Sales and Product Expansion Opportunity Analysis process for new and existing customers.
• Engage directly with clients during Opportunity Analysis projects, coordinating file layouts, file exchanges, and working through any data issues.
• Working as a conduit between Sales VPs and Data Analysts while supporting Opportunity Analysis projects, managing communication, prioritization, and escalations.
• Lead Data Modernization Opportunity Analysis projects in addition to product specific OAs.
• Drive Analytics projects as needed to support the client and internal operational customer service and revenue goals.
• Assist with the definition of data requirements for specific dashboard/reporting projects and partner with internal teams as needed to deliver on reporting.
• Review for accuracy reports and dashboards before broad distribution and provide additional analysis or insight to add value to the metrics.
• Manage a team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts that support both internal and client-facing reporting related to the Opportunity Analysis process.
• Regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve the reporting and analytical processes to achieve optimal performance.
• Work closely with Product teams by supporting the development and evaluation of new products.
• Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that can assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage the training and development for the team.
• Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
• Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent.
• 4+ years' experience in advanced analytics, delivering actionable insights from data, database and big data analytics environments.
• 2+ years' experience working in a Hadoop based big data environment. (e.g.,Pig, Pyspark, HDFS, R, Spark).
• 2+ years' experience with business intelligence (data visualization and dashboarding, Tableau, etc) and multiple scripting languages (procedural languages such as T-SQL, Scala, R, Python, etc.).
• Experience with SQL syntax for multiple databases (e.g., standard MSSQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• 2+ years' experience of direct project management or overseeing all aspects of a client implementation effort operationally including evaluating complex operational reports, identifying concerns, and working individually and through cross-functional teams to re-align delivery back to target performance.
• 2+ years' experience leading cross-functional teams of implementation performers on multiple efforts simultaneously and driving the team to successful (on time, on budget, minimal issues) implementations.
• Experience in Agile environment, Jira preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and result oriented leadership skills with the ability to be a successful team builder in a time critical environment.
• Ability to consult on and apply knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently in alignment with organizational competencies and strategic business goals. Ability to articulate and document a scope, process, accountable owners and project milestones and timelines. Includes summarizing project health and outcomes at any point in the project lifecycle.
• Experience with healthcare billing and coding.
• Strong ability to use statistical methodology to solve business problems.
• Ability to actively and skillfully conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize, and/or evaluate information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point and Outlook).
• Advanced in MS Excel.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project.
• Artistic eye capable of producing attractive, easy to use reports and analyses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Professional with ability to properly handle PHI and confidential information.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work within a matrixed organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a team.
• After hours / weekend work required where necessary for major deliverables / deadlines (not consistent).
• Must have flexibility and willingness to participate in the work processes of an international organization, including conference calls scheduled to accommodate global time zones.

Base compensation ranges from $102,000 to $125,500 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
