We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, Product Manager to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Owns product discovery and new offer strategy for integrated solutions
- Develop, lead, and execute the strategic vision for the commercial product and platform; own the overall Product / Platform roadmap, and align teams around delivery and commercial goals.
- Sets strategies for financial product offerings, including pricing, revenue modelling and optimization, and compliance
- Conducts market and competitive analysis and manages financial regulation
- Collaborates with legal and compliance to streamlining onboarding and regulatory adherence
- Oversees partnerships with financial services and third-party vendors including deal structuring, billing and contract management
- Prioritizes the financial product backlog, aligning with revenue goals
- Partners with digital product teams to ensure development and delivery in support of commercial OKRs
- Provide leadership support to multiple pod-level Product Owners and ensure alignment across multiple pod-level product backlogs.
- Accountable for all risks originated from services delivered (including remediation efforts) & owns, manage and aggregate's view of risk across Product/Platform.
- Continuously groom & reprioritize pod backlogs, provide strategic input & decisioning, manage & reduce blockers, & ensure continuous flow of work for pods.
- Provide day-to-day direction to guide Product / Platform operations and evaluate the impact of the Product against established scorecard.
- Collaborate with Product / Platform Leadership to share progress, flag challenges, and codify lessons learned.
- Manage issue escalations and risks.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Minimum of 15 years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery.
- Commercially focused, prioritizing revenue generation and compliance
- High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development
- Domain expertise in relevant Product/Platform
- Passion for changing status quo and driving out-of-the-box ideas.
- Eagerness to 'roll up the sleeves' in execution and learning; pushes the team to do the same.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Ability to make hard and fast decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $158,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
