Position Overview: Manage relationships with all assigned Recovery Partners; ensure goal attainment and effectively manage budgetary requirements. Relationship owner of all assigned Recovery Partners (RP) and associated contracts to include reimbursement terms and referenced regulatory changes/updates. Responsible for sustaining recovery partner contract renewal process; seeking improved business terms and reimbursement schedule through negotiation and relationship management process. Work in conjunction with Donation Support, Tissue Processing Lab (TPL), and Donor Quality Assurance (DQA) to resolve any quality related non-conformance (NC) issue. Help to integrate the tissue recovery process into the broader Artivion Tissue Value Stream. Support the regulatory and quality environment and the Sarbanes Oxley regulations. Manage all assigned Non-Conformances (NCs) as the NC Owner responsible for closure within 60 days of issuance. Responsibilities:
- Manage relationship with Recovery Partners and ensure all required donor documentation is provided in a timely manner.
- Manage and Maintain Recovery Partner Contracts and NDAs via the Agiloft platform.
- Coordinate Artivion's participation at national organ and tissue banking and related meetings in assigned region.
- Ensure Recovery Partners adhere to the <40-hour ischemic time requirement
- Actively interface with Donation Support, DQA, TPL, Regulatory Affairs (RA), Purchasing, Sustaining Engineering, Marketing, and Receiving/Shipping to resolve any issues or to champion internal process improvements.
- Active participant in the S&OP process.
- Material Review Board participation, when applicable.
- Initiate and present ECNs when applicable.
- NC Ownership of assigned Non-Conformances and closure within 60 days of issuance.
- Brief, as needed, internal and external Executive Key Stakeholders.
- Conduct applicable departmental training (internal and external) and maintain departmental compliance to training procedures.
- Ensure Recovery Partner and Donor Service department's compliance with company standards and operating procedures.
- Quality:
- Prompt resolution of Non-Conformances and quality related issue
- Provide the necessary training support to help reduce recovery errors in the fiel
- Optimize incoming tissue yield rates
- Cost:
- Maintain departmental budgetary requirements
- Negotiate reimbursement terms and schedules
- Deliver on cost savings/improvement projects - target of 2.5% of total procurement/reimbursement spend
- Delivery:
- Serves as the relationship owner for all recovery partners
- Maximize Prime tissue supply
- Ensure <40-hour ischemic time requirement is met
- Collaborate with Donor Support, TPL and DQA to ensure alignment with incoming TE volume and Donor Record Review throughput.
- Seek internal and external tissue process improvement; collaboratively work with internal and external partners to drive change.
- Integrate the procurement process into the broader Artivion Tissue Value Stream
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of Tissue Banking/OPO engagement experience.
- AATB membership preferred.
- Graduate degree is a plus. Results driven, strong collaborator, excellent written and verbal communicator, excellent negotiation skills, effective at time management and able to multi-task.
- This is a remote position with up to 50% travel.
