Printpack is a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Materials Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing the flow of materials and information throughout our plant operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate information and material flow between materials management and plant operations to ensure timely completion of customer orders.

  • Manage plant inventory levels to maximize profitability and reduce overhead costs.

  • Optimize plant capacity utilization to maximize revenues and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet product specifications and customer needs.

  • Oversee plant scheduling and planning activities.

  • Manage raw material requirements and communicate effectively with vendors.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with raw material suppliers, sales associates, and internal customers.

  • Participate in plant planning processes with Customer Demand Analysts, Sales Associates, and PPKUS Operations Planning to meet business objectives.

  • Manage the operations of the plant Shipping & Receiving department.

  • Serve as an integral member of the Plant Leadership Team, working collaboratively to achieve corporate objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in materials management or related role preferred

  • Proven track record of success in inventory management and supply chain optimization

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
