Responsible for working on various mechanical and electrode assemblies per standard operating procedures.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs all process steps to assemble all common mechanical and electrode assemblies with coaching per print and production procedures (within 90 days).
  • Performs various production admin tasks to assist with shipping of electronic devices and delivery of products to Quality and Shipping.
  • Cleans, packs and processes Electromechanical finished goods as needed.
  • Completes daily production documentation accurately for every order.
  • Performs all mechanical and electrode assemblies with high precision and detail, verifying all quality standards are met, resulting in minimal to no rework necessary, passing all QC inspections.
  • Completes an order start to finish within 130% of standard cycle time allotted for the order (within 120 days).
  • Uses various hand tools (screw drivers, diagonal cutters, wrenches, ratchets) for assembly processes.
  • Operates basic manufacturing equipment as required for processes (heat gun, lathe, milling, hammering, punch presses, manual tabletop presses, pneumatic, grinding, polishing and testing devices, etc.).
  • Maintains 5S on work space, equipment and room cleaning as needed.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and/or monthly preventative maintenance checks on tooling, equipment and dies used by the electromechanical department as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to all PPE and safety requirements.
  • Adheres to quality standards for assembly processes.
  • Completes all Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines.
  • Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures for assembly processes.
  • Aware of and comply with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager - Electromechanical.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of small part assembly experience, involving the use of some form of a magnifier.
  • Ability to work with magnification equipment such as microscopes, eye loops, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints and standard operating procedures
  • Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.
  • Basic understanding of electronic measuring equipment such as digital multimeters preferred.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
  • Basic PC Skills
  • Experience with and understanding multi-cultural and multi-generational differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
  • The following physical demands are required:
    1. Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
    2. Lift/Carry up to 25 pounds
    3. Bend/Stoop/Kneel 4 hours per day
    4. Push/Pull up to 50 pounds
  • The following work environment conditions may exist:
