Channel Assembler

Viking Enterprise Solutions, a division of Sanmina Corporation, is responsible for the design of high performance storage and server systems for the OEM/JDM marketplace. Due to our continued success and growth, VES has an opportunity for a Channel Assembler. This is an opportunity to join the VES team for an exciting career on the cutting edge in data storage product and server product design.

Job Purpose:

In this role, the Channel Assembler will build and test cutting edge data storage products and server product designs in Colorado Springs. This person will be part of the Viking Operations organization accountable for build and manufacturing test of our storage/server products. The ideal candidate will have a experience in electronics systems assembly and in executing manufacturing test procedures for electronics systems.

Responsibilities include:

* Assembly of storage and server products.

* Test of storage and server products by following test procedures, and perform build and testing of systems under the guidance of Test Engineers and Test Technicians in the Engineering test labs.

* Document test results as testing is performed.

* Work with Test Engineers and Test Technicians to resolve issues discovered during the product build and test cycles.

* Building systems in a lab environment

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 4-6 years of related experience in electronics assembly and in manufacturing test of electronics products is preferred

* Experience working with computers, including familiarity with word processing tools and spreadsheets

* Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and engineering teams

Pay range: $18 - $21 per hour
