About the Role:

Yardi is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to
join our team dedicated to Yardi's Senior Living suite of products. Your
primary focus will be on enhancing the reliability and performance of our
software tailored for senior living communities. This role involves rigorous
testing, collaborating with developers to resolve issues, and using a hands-on
approach to develop test plans, automate scripts, and document findings to
support product improvements. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying
defects and ensuring software quality standards. Join us to play a key role in

What You'll Do:

• Learn the Yardi Senior Living product inside and out and
  become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Evaluate and test new enhancements and fixes to program
  functions per user requirements, design specifications and established
  standards.
• Consult with development engineers for problem resolution.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in
  debugging and modification of software.
• Test software products and report the results to developers
  via the internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application.
• Create detailed Technical Reports (TRs) using quality
  writing skills and provide Development with the necessary information to
  resolve issues.
• Follow established quality assurance procedures and
  contribute to the continual improvement of those procedures.
• Perform unit testing on defect resolutions to ensure
  accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired
  results.
• Analyze and document reasons for test failures, and
  revise/debug assigned programs and/or procedures as necessary.
• Update and maintain new test environments with appropriate
  data.
• Track software problems and verify corrections.
• Work collaboratively in the creation and inspection of
  quality assurance documents and prepare release documentation for both internal
  and external presentation.
• Enhance knowledge of tools, processes, procedures, and
  resources necessary to support quality assurance activities.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or
  related degree or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of software domain(s) experience
  and/or quality assurance experience with working knowledge of quality testing
  tools and systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose, report, track and effectively
  communicate quality issues for several projects concurrently.
• Awesome written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
  effectively.
• Ability to learn and apply new, complex concepts.
• High comfort level troubleshooting and problem-solving
  issues.
• Flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Great people skills and the ability to thrive in a
  collaborative environment.

Helpful to Have:

• Knowledge of SQL administration.
• Basic SQL proficiency simple queries, filtering, aggregate
  functions and joins.
• Experience with Business Intelligence Software Analytics.
• Angular Framework.
• Interest and knowledge of software test automation.
• Experience in the property management industry and
  accounting.
• Experience with electronic health records and interfaces,
  such as HL7, NCPDP, FHIR.
