Overview The Business Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing operational efficiency within contract logistics operations through data-driven analysis, process improvement, and technology implementation. This role combines analytical expertise with practical process knowledge to identify inefficiencies, design solutions, and implement changes that improve performance and customer satisfaction. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop automated workflows, create meaningful data visualizations, and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and support the implementation of new or existing client growth initiatives. Responsibilities
Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Qualifications Education * Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Science or related field (Required) * Master's Degree Operations Research, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or related field (Preferred) Experience * 3+ years business process engineering, business analysis, data analytics, or a related role (Required) * 2+ years business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) (Required) * 1+ years working Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Required) * 1+ years data marts and denormalized data reporting structures (Required) * 3+ years logistics, supply chain, or 3PL operations (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Problem-solving High * Data analysis/modeling and statistical methods High * Business Intelligence Tools High * Lean Six sigma methodology High * Communication and collaboration skills High * Project management Medium * Understanding of logistics and supply chain process Medium * Warehouse management systems Medium * Programming/Scripting Medium Licenses and Certifications * Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Upon Hire (Preferred) * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - Upon Hire (Preferred) * Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) - Upon Hire (Preferred) * Relevant BI Tools Certifications Upon Hire (Preferred) |
