Cardiac Rehab RN- Part-time Day shift

This is a Part-time day position Monday through Thursday (8 hour shifts). No Call. No Weekends. No Holidays.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cardiac Rehab Nurse to join our team in Blue Springs, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation, ensuring their safe and effective recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation services to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac status during exercise sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and their families on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and exercise routines.
• Conduct risk factor assessments and tailor interventions to reduce future cardiac events.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physical therapists, and dietitians to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities related to cardiovascular health.

Education and Work Experience

1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. PALS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
5. Previous acute care hospital experience; preferred.
6. Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days upon hire.
7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
