The 4-H Summer Assistant will be responsible to the 4-H Educator. Job Expectations

Positions are currently available in the following counties, with the potential for additional locations to be added later: Adams Bradford Bucks Butler Centre Clarion Columbia Huntingdon Lebanon Lehigh Lycoming Mercer Montgomery Perry Potter Snyder/Union Sullivan Westmoreland York Qualifications Position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to plan and teach activities and educational programs. Must be a team player who can work with diverse youth and adults.The candidate must be able to carry equipment and educational materials and supplies, with or without accommodation. Preference will be given to applicants with undergraduate coursework in education, agriculture, the sciences or other related fields. Previous experience with the 4-H program is preferred. This position requires the applicant to operate a motor vehicle as part of the job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required. Applicant must also be willing to work flexible hours.
