Position Overview:

The Market Development Sales Intern will support the efforts of our Right of Entry (ROE) team by working to assist and develop new sales strategies by analyzing key financial metrics, with a focus on increasing renewals to protect revenue while driving new contract growth. This role will assist in generating leads, engaging with clients, and analyzing sales data to improve performance and profitability.

A Day in the Life of the Market Development Sales Intern:



  • Assist the sales team in generating and qualifying leads for Right of Entry (ROE).
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals for potential clients.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
  • Assist in the tracking and analyzing contract renewals, metrics and outsourced data sets.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to improve ROE, overall profitability, and penetration rates.
  • Conduct research on market trends and competitor activities to provide insights for sales strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales processes and ROE.
  • Other duties as assigned.



What You Bring to the Table:



  • Practical experience with administrative tasks, including report preparation and scheduling.
  • Prior experience in supporting or working within a team environment to achieve sales goals is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in time-sensitive situations; aptitude to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.



Education:



  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.



Compensation:

The base compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. The base pay represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
