JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Duties:

Fox Technology Center, LLC seeks a Computer Network Architect (Senior Network Engineer) to focus on Media and Broadcast to design and implement highly resilient and scalable network supporting media workflows and live broadcast events such as World Cup and the Super Bowl. Work closely with multiple teams and disciplines across the enterprise to conceptualize, build and integrate solutions and services to support the challenging real-time requirements of the media/broadcast business. Design and implement secure network environments capable of transporting live and file-based content over private and public networks. Work with other teams to design and build out scalable solutions to business related problems. Work with teams across the organization to troubleshoot service impacting issues. Mentor junior level members of the team. Serve as point of escalation for network issues. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, plus two (2) years of network engineering or related IT experience working with large scale networks, including experience implementing and supporting network deployments; troubleshooting complex network problems; building data centers using SPINE-LEAF architecture; and working with network platforms such as Arista, Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper.

*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Knowledge of IP networking and network analysis fundamentals; 2) Experience in the application of IP protocols; 3) Experience in automation and scripting; 4) Experience in QoS, Multicast, BGP, OSPF, TACACS, IPSEC, VPNs, Netflow, DNS and EVPN-VXLAN; 5) Experience with multiple cloud environments such as AWS, AZURE and Google cloud; and 6) Experience in the media or broadcast industry

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $138,563.19 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
