Overview

TRC has an immediate opening for a Regional Manager/Senior Project Manager in the Ambient Air Monitoring Group of the EHS&S Practice. The successful candidate will manage air monitoring programs nationwide, expand the group's client base and recruit new talent. In addition, this person will act as the Ambient Monitoring Group's Western Unit Manager


Responsibilities

  • Overall management of TRC's Ambient Monitoring Group West Region
  • Manage air monitoring projects in the Gulf of Mexico region as well as the western U.S.
  • Represent Ambient Monitoring Group by participating as the National Service Leader to develop opportunities with new and existing customers nationally.
  • Prepare and manage ambient group's western region annual budget.
  • Lead/manage proposal efforts.
  • Assist with management of the overall ambient monitoring practice.
  • Identify and hire exceptionally talented staff necessary for growing TRC's monitoring capabilities.
  • Implement the AMS Quality Management Plan and ensure that all customer deliverables are provided in a timely manner that is consistent with the Plan.
  • Revise and/or develop SOPs for ambient air monitoring programs.
  • Implement the AMS Health and Safety plan and ensure that office and field operations are conducted as specified in the plan.
  • Actively support and participate in EHS&S initiatives and ensure that staff are informed of local, regional, and practice-wide matters.
  • Manage the performance of staff using the tools and processes provided by Human Resources.
  • Support a work environment that encourages staff contributions to continuous improvement in all aspects of our operations.
  • Represent TRC at national conferences/meeting.
  • Manage or lead field projects as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project or resource management experience related to air quality and meteorological monitoring.
  • Five years of previous personnel management experience is required.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude, proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments when required.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and motor vehicle records check.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $130,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
