Position Summary Assist the Director, Academic Clinical Affairs with the Clinical Affairs office by ensuring the timely and efficient placement of nursing students with partner agencies. Manage and maintain comprehensive health clearance and corporate compliance requirements for students across affiliate hospitals and healthcare agencies. Collaborate with senior leadership and faculty to address and resolve student and preceptor issues at clinical sites. Work closely with operational leads to coordinate appropriate clinical placements across all undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Lead the management of academic operations related to the completion and renewal of affiliation agreements. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a health related field Preferred Education: Master's Degree in a health related field Required Experience: 3+ years experience with nursing clinical field placements and/or equivalent experience in the hospital setting. Preferred Experience: 5+ years experience with nursing clinical field placements and/or equivalent experience in the hospital setting. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Complex communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with a diverse population and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts to the College of Nursing. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment. Understands the learning experiences needed for student nurses. Working knowledge of standard office software. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent interpretation of complex statistical data. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $85,500.00 to USD $104,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
